How can anyone plan for retirement or emergencies, without having the proper amount of funds put away? At The Meakem Group, we coach our clients, providing them with a strategic game plan to achieve their financial goals.

I started with The Meakem Group in 2015. I am responsible for all operational aspects of our clients’ accounts. This makes me a personal point of contact for clients, which is great because working with clients is the best part of my job.

It wasn’t until I was studying at the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business that I realized I wanted to work in the financial planning industry. The lessons about the time value of money and the power of compounding interest really intrigued me. I realized that these lessons weren’t just important for business students, but for everyone.

I’ve learned a lot working with Traci and the team at The Meakem Group. We genuinely care about each person who comes through our door, whether you’re here for a first meeting or have been a client for years. When you work with us, you get a detailed plan that’s customized just for you.

On a Personal Note

When I’m not in the office, you might find me going on adventures in my Jeep Wrangler. Growing up as an automotive enthusiast, I have always had a passion for anything with an engine. Owning a Jeep had been a dream of mine since I was in high school. My Jeep is a constant reminder of what is obtainable when you combine a solid plan with hard work.

I also love cheering on my favorite teams. When I was younger, my family held Washington Redskins season tickets. I try to get to as many games as I can every year because when I’m at FedEx Field, it feels like home. I also love rooting for the Capitals, even though some seasons they can really break your heart. And there’s always time to support my alma mater, the University of Maryland. Go Terps!
